Adopted by the American Chamber of Commerce since September 2018, the Career Orientation Program is a major professional partner of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
The Ministry’s priority areas are knowledge and innovation management and vocational training, closely related to career orientation already in high school.
For the long-term competitiveness of our country, it is of the utmost importance that the education system is in line with the current direction of economic development. At present, the biggest labor market challenges in Hungary are the structural shortage of labor, the radical transformation of jobs due to digitization and Hungary’s shift towards higher added value economic processes. In order for the future economy to succeed in our country, high school graduates today need to develop a comprehensive and forward-looking career guidance infrastructure. We believe that our Career Orientation Program will, as part of this process, assist in the future for schools and teachers in the professional organization of Career Orientation Days.
